The airport for the Region of Murcia (Murcia-San Javier Airport) is located 47 km from the city of Murcia in San Javier, near the Mar Menor. It connects the region with the rest of Spain and with major European capitals. In addition, a new airport is being planned in Corvera that will provide a modern national and international air transportation infrastructure.

The project for the construction of the new airport is already underway. Located in Corvera, 20 minutes from the city of Murcia and only 15 minutes from the Mar Menor, it will provide the Region with modern national and international transportation infrastructure.
