Sponsorships and patronages
Procumasa strongly believes in the values represented by the world of sports and provides support through efforts to improve and advance aspects of any sport. Among the most important sports sponsorships are:
- Hercules Football Club (Alicante), whose President is Mr. Valentin Botella.
- Tragamillas Triathlon Club, in 2005 it participated in over 20 contests in different categories and won over 100 podium places, 36 of which were won by individuals and over 25 teams were first place finishers.
Donations
Regarding social initiatives, Procumasa has supported various humanitarian projects.
During Christmas of 2005, Mr. Valentin Botella travelled to Afghanistan in a humanitarian mission, invited by the Air Force Joint Chief of Staff as a businessman from Alicante. The expedition handed out 20.000 kilograms of humanitarian aid in the area, consisting mostly of food and school supplies.
These are just a few examples of the responsible attitude assumed by Procumasa towards the social environment. A responsibility that basically translates into investing and sharing with the society that surrounds it.
